Hi there,

I hope you are well during this very challenging time.

I am writing to you from the New Zealand Veterinary Association -we were
due to hold the 36th World Veterinary Association Congress (WVAC) this year
in Auckland. Unfortunately due to the advent of COVID-19 and as the
situation worldwide deteriorated, WVAC 2020 had to be cancelled. We are
aware that WVAC 2020 is just one of many veterinary CPD events worldwide
which will have been cancelled due to the current global circumstances.

The New Zealand Veterinary Association and the World Veterinary Association
have partnered with The Webinar Vet (an online CPD facility based in the
UK) to present WVAC 2020 as a virtual CPD festival. We believe that
delivering the Congress in this format at this time will provide much
needed support to the veterinary profession. The online festival will
deliver most of the speakers that were signed up to speak at WVAC and
deliver a mixture of live and recorded lectures. While the festival lasts
for three weeks the information will remain available online for six months.

The launch of the CPD festival was on the 25th April (26th April in New
Zealand). RACE approved CE is available -individual segments will be marked
as RACE approved if they qualify.

A global seminar on equine welfare will be live this weekend and will be *free
*to attend. This is a session I anticipate your members might be
particularly interested in -registrations are available at:
